Mud Map of Canberra and surrounds for an E-book.

"In early 2014, I commissioned Kristen O'Keeffe to paint a mud map of Canberra for a nature adventure book that I was writing. I asked her to decorate it with Australian native plants and animals, particularly insects - indigenous species being her forte. From the very start, Kristen understood my concept and was a delight to work with on the project. She listened attentively and provided ample consultation, especially early on to clarify my intent and specific requirements. She also kept me informed throughout the entire process and with excellent attention to scientific detail. I was very impressed when Kristen masterfully brought my idea to life so that it could serve the dual purpose of a piece of artwork on my wall at home as well as a feature in my book. I was so happy with the final product that I will certainly ask her to produce other pieces of natural history illustration to compliment the first."
